Ryan + Miranda had a fantastic fall wedding! They were fortunate to have a perfect fall day, cool, crisp air and moments of sunshine. Ever since my first conversation with Miranda, I knew this was going to be a fantastic wedding! They had a unique vision for their wedding with a few different themes and I loved it from the start. They are such a sweet, loving couple that I really feel like the day just fit them PERFECTLY! From the prep time in the morning, to the ceremony, to a brunch (for dinner) at a fabulous venue….it was all about togetherness, family, love and so much joy! It was such a fun day, full of great moments, meaningful elements and a fantastic group of fun loving people. It really was a special wedding and I loved being a part of it!! Ryan + Miranda…I adore you both! I wish you the kind of love that you have today, every single day for the rest of your lives.
Special thanks goes out to the lovely Johanna Cometa of JC Makeup Artistry for Miranda’s gorgeous makeup! Johanna ROCKS!! Also, special thanks to my awesome 2nd shooter, Michelle Zerr for helping me out and spending time with the guys!! Love having my partner in crime with me! 🙂
Loved the AWESOME Lego men for the bouts from the Knight collection that tied in with their Coat Of Arms theme! The girls also had them on their bouquets.
They are seriously so perfect together!!
They had posters to give a better idea of who they are. The posters repeat the ‘He Is Her One, She Is His Constant’ lines and also the ‘princess in his castle’ line that was being used throughout their wedding. They called them the HE SHE posters. He is written with the Davis coat of arms, She is the Leclercq coat of arms. The coat of arms was used for HE SHE, their centerpieces, stickers to seal the invitation envelopes and to mark the reception tables.
They some painted big letters spelling W-O-O-T, which was taken from their wedding invite.
I LOVED their seating cards for guests!!! Ryan is an Occupational Health and Safety officer/manager and Miranda is a lawyer. The escort card table was their chance to joke about that. Ryan put together an emergency response plan and each card had a waiver of liability on it (law) by Miranda.
The dinner was brunch. It’s Ryan’s favorite meal and the meal they ate when they were engaged. There was a family style serving, so the tables were grouped together to accommodate the platters. The little “cupcakes” were actually pancakes and the awesome staff at St. Norberts Art Centre used Miranda’s recipe. They also had quiche, french toast, bacon, asparagus and there was also an egg dish. Everything was soooo good! The St. Norbert Arts Centre always has the BEST food!!
Their family and friends surprised them by giving them a score on how well they did for their first dance. 🙂
Miranda and family members made these delicious cookies! Seriously, they were sooooo good! No wonder they are Ryan’s favorite!
