Photography is so much harder as a profession than I ever imagined it would be. It is a lot of work, and it takes so much focus (no pun intended..lol), and I probably will never feel like I have it totally mastered. But there is nothing more rewarding than looking through my camera at a person and all of a sudden realizing how amazing and valuable they are and knowing that I am taking pictures of them that they and their loved ones are going to treasure for the rest of their lives. It gives me chills! I can't believe I get to spend my time in such an amazing way! Now more than ever, I value photography for how it helps us remember what is most precious to us, how it brings us straight back to the day we were married or held our new baby for the first time. I honestly cannot think of what I would rather do every day.

Sierra has been very busy as well – she has a new EP out titled “Possibilities” – I don’t know if you have heard but she is now singing and songwriting as well as fiddling these days.
Hope we run into you sometime soon.
Sierra will be performing at Festival du Voyageur if you are brave enough to venture out with your little guy!
