Andrea + Adam [the Photobooth] || Winnipeg Wedding Photography

Hey Internet,  here is a sneak peek from Andrea + Adam’s fabulous wedding this past weekend and some of the fun we had in the photobooth!  Be sure to check out the slideshow if you’d like to see more photos or you can download it from iTunes for free here.

I often get asked by people if I supply all the props for the photobooth so I thought I would just mention it here for anyone else who has this same question.  The answer to that is 50/50….yes, I bring a FEW props, but my clients also bring a lot of their own….which you can see here in Andrea + Adam’s photobooth pics.  Enjoy and have a great day everyone!:)

An Afternoon At The Beach! || Winnipeg Portrait Photographer

Last month, I had the wonderful pleasure of documenting the Friesen-Fraser family yet again. Their last session was quite a breeze and it has been SUCH an honor to work with them since they were 7 months old.  This time we met at beautiful Gimli Beach to document another chapter in their family.  It’s crazy to see time pass and watch these little munchkins now as busy little toddlers!  It was a gorgeous day and the beach was quite busy but we didn’t let that stop us…even with Skylar being in a “mood”.  Despite the fact that we just couldn’t make him happy…after all, who wouldn’t be happy hanging out playing on the beach?…I think we managed to get some great shots regardless.  Here are some of my favs from our shoot:

Stephanie Ash - OMG! this session looks like wayy too much fun!! I love the kids in the sand, soo cute, what a cute family. GREAT job, Kelly =)August 30, 2010 – 12:46 pm

Lisa + Kim….engaged! || Winnipeg Engagement Photography

I will first start off with the fact that within the first ten minutes of meeting them when they booked me I could see that they are definitely two pees in a pod, meant to be, and absolutely perfect together!  I was totally excited for my shoot with Lisa + Kim – who not only look incredible together, but were super fun to be around and quite up for anything.  After a few initial photos with their dog Neeka and catching some golden evening light, this sweet couple was warmed up and looking absolutely at ease, and fabulous.

We started things off on Waterfront Drive before moving into near by streets, making a quick stop for wardrobe change before we ended the session at the Airport (Kim works there and has connections with some pretty fantastic people!).  I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in September – check out some of my favorite images from their session below:

p.s. Be sure to check out the slideshow if you’d like to see more or download it from itunes for free here.:)

Lisa + Kim - Hi Kelly! Wow! What can we say? We finally got to see how amazing our engagement pictures turned out! We’re so glad that we chose you as our photographer. The pictures definitely tell the love story between us & how we truly feel about each other. As we look at each picture, we reflect upon each pose and felt very comfortable embracing each other for the camera. We have never taken professional photographs with each other before, and didn’t feel awkward throughout the whole photo shoot. Thank you very much for taking the time to perfect each shot. Your patience, professionalism & attention to detail toward such an important part of our wedding is truly appreciated! We can’t wait to show all our family & friends. See you soon! Less than 3 weeks to go!August 22, 2010 – 9:52 pm
